Equine Advocates with Susan Wagner

Susan Wagner, Co-founder of Equine Advocates Inc. joins us to talk about what inspired her to start the horse sanctuary located in Chatham New York.  The non-profit 501 (c) (3) was established to protect, rescue, and prevent the abuse of equines through education, investigation, rescue operations, and dissemination of information to the public and operation of a horse sanctuary for slaughter-bound, abused, and neglected horses.  Equine Advocates is an award-winning organization, honored by the New York State Humane Association and the Thoroughbred Charities of America for excellence in equine protection and rescue work, including numerous multi-horse rescue operations.
